Fringeworthy / Re: Fringeworthy in print format

Box sets would not be something we can get printed in a print on demand format, it would require us to have a batch of books printed at a normal print house as well as have boxes printed, then put together by us and shipped by us. If Tri Tac had actual employees that might be a plan, but at this time no one gets paid to work for Tri Tac Games and there is no big office or warehouse to process physical sales.

Sorry ORTrail, I had a kerfuffle with the mail server, but I got both of your docs and I'm editing them right now! Thanks again for your submission!

I always go for the hardcover, if possible.  HH has a crazy long title on that spine.

You could always try and bring back boxed sets.  Okay, not realistic, but I still miss those from my early RPG collecting days.

If it was the softcover they don't allow titles on the spines in the pod process, if it was the Hardback it was because it was the first hardback i had done PoD for and couldn't get the title approved in the process and chose to go without the title in order to get the book to pass the print approval. Sadly it's not like a print house that sets everything up for you and ignores limitation on the spine. I got the title on the Hardcover Hardwired Hinterland but was disappointed with the size the font ended up being to fit into the tiny space they allowed for print on spines.

I was thinking the thread title could also apply to the maps made for various alternate worlds.  At first glance you recognize the locations, but as you look closer the differences start to appear.  For example (I'm still learning to use the Other World Mapping software I bought a few months back) here is a real world location I recreated for an alternate; Plymouth, Massachusetts.

It was only a matter of time; I picked up a POD copy of the Fringeworthy D20 rules.  I one quirk I noticed, which it shares with my POD Everywhen RPG hardcover is that the title is NOT on the spine.  Not a big deal, since it will go into the Tri Tac section of the bookshelf.

I emailed the second adventure out yesterday evening, just an FYI in case it ended up in a spam folder or something.

Yeah, it took some time to recover, but I'm doing fine now.  My advice is to NOT get kidney stones, or if you do, don't compound it with a kidney infection.

Anyway, I just sent John the revised adventure for the newsletter, based on his feedback.  I'm working on a second adventure, so if I can get that completed and sent off by the 20th (coming up fast) I'll do so.  It's another adventure I ran last year at a convention and it went really well.  Really, I just want to be able to use that cool map I created.   ;D

Update: It was a productive day, working on the Roman adventure.  I've got to add some GM Notes and some stat blocks to complete it, but the rest of the writing is done.  I'll finish it up and send it to John tomorrow.
