They appeared out of a Warp in central Cleveland.  They were so cute, the colorful, happy Ponies from popular Culture that preached Friendship was Universal.  The Brownies cheered, the children ran out to greet our new friends.  It was a happy, sunny day that will always be remembered like the Landing on the Moon and 911. The Ponies cut lose with shotguns and killed them all.  They beheaded the survivors and ran down the people in the streets.

It was Bloody Saturday.

The police returned fire and realized the rainbow glow they had was a protective energy shield that deflected bullets and gas.   The slaughter continued as more portals opened in Washington, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
